All you need to do is provide your catalog information to Tri-Tech in a consistent and timely fashion. Active-e will take your catalog information and provide it to retailers in the needed format.
You can rest assured that your inventory data is secure. Active-e has built in protection so that only authorized dealers can access your inventory catalog information. Implementation is a very easy, and to you, a zero-cost program.
Tri-Tech is a member of the NAMM ad-hoc Technology Committee. The Technology Committee was formed to develop business-to-business Industry Standards.
The committee, which is composed of technical experts not represented on NAMM’s Board, includes Paul Ward, Roland US; Robin Walenta, West Music; MaryAnne DelMundo, Guitar Center; Steve LaMonde, Kaman; Greg Bryniak, D’Addario; Amy Pearson, Sweetwater; William McGloine, Korg; and Pat Murphy, Tri-Technical Systems; Gary Duvall, Yamaha; Hal Leonard; and Musician’s Friend.
To date, the committee has released the Order, Order Acknowledgement, ASN, Invoice and Item documents. The Party, Availability, Detailed Acknowledgement, PO Change, and PO Status Check are in different stages of development. The committee’s progress can be tracked on NAMM’s B2B micro-site, which is open to all NAMM Members.
Tri-Tech’s AIMsi software has the ability to transmit or receive any of the NAMM XML documents to any supplier. Typically the suppliers end will need some type of service to receive the XML documents. Tri-Tech’s AIMsi software can send the documents to an https post or web-service.
