Several things in the beta calendar version were corrected.
The beta Calendar Program has been added to Version 6!
CRS register users are now able to access the Special Item Stock Report.
The electronic journal, time keeping Z2, and Time Keeping Z3 reports are now available for CRS ROMs starting with 2.23. These reports reflect the functionality of the respective register ROM versions.
The electronic journal area has been reformatted so more information can fit on one of the reports. Before, the reports would have large gaps between the information and take many pages to print out. Now, the report is more condensed and easier to read.
The Electronic Journal reporting screen now says from register ___, instead of from register ___ to register ___. This is because the CRS 3000 cannot do a consolidate EJ report. It can only do each register separately. The registers can be in an IRC setup, but the EJs are polled individually.
Some users had previously experienced problems doing a Save All on the Sharp. The program would lock up while saving the Mix and Match table. This has now been fixed.
The ingredient save on the Sharp has been fixed.
The program is now able to work with the 750 in an IRC configuration. The program can save, send, and maintain the programs from the master and do consolidated reports. The user is allowed to choose if they want to do a report on the master or on the entire system.
The Samsung Time Report now properly displays the count values.
A few of the labels in this area have been extended to display the entire title.
Main areas updated / added:
Importing into and Exporting from Microsoft Excel
Information on buttons in Maintain area
Errors added to Errors section
The reports associated with the CRS Financial report (Sales, Receipts, Memo, System Balancing, and Table Service) can now be consolidated without error.
The consolidate option in the program now works independently of the date format on the computer. Previously, dates had to be in the mm/dd/yyyy format.
The full install for Build 293 automatically sets the BDE Local Share property to TRUE. Having this area set to false causes BLOB errors (See the Version 6 Manual Errors section). Users who install the full.exe, either for installing a new copy of Version 6 or for overwriting the old program, will have this fixed.
The Waste and Promo fields were added to the Samsung PLU Report.
Now the file name and path can be selected for a report Export. Also, it is possible to do a multi-select export by holding down the Ctrl key and selecting multiple reports. To finalize the export, click on the Export button. The reports will be exported in the order that they appear in the list. For example, the first report to be exported will be the one with the lowest Poll ID.
Information can also be exported to an already existing file. The original information will not be overwritten. Instead, the new data is appended to the end of the file.
Users were previously having problems with the Samsung prices not being displayed on the register tape. The user creates this error, but PC/POLL was able to change the programming for Version 6 so the error could be avoided for most users. The problem originated with the fields Default Currency and Currency Conversion 1 and 2 not having values. Now, the program automatically supplies data for these areas.
The Help files now include information about Error messages common to Version 6, and how they can be fixed.
Double clicking on a report in the Data area previews the report. Double clicking had previously printed the report.
This feature exports the report to the PC/POLL Export folder. The Consolidate Export exports the reports to the SAME file as the export button on the main data screen. If the report is exported, then the consolidate exported, the first data will be overwritten.
This area of the program now works. Before it was reading the information incorrectly.
The Paid Out Field problem has been corrected. Before, the field would not display values larger than $999.99. Now, the field automatically adjusts to contain larger numbers.
The CRS Tax Tables are now operational. Users can now send their changes back to the register.
In order for this to work, the previous tax tables need to be deleted. (No error messages will display, but the program information will not display correctly otherwise.) To complete this successfully, delete the .DB and .PX files from C:\Version Six Data directory. (See picture.)
If a new machine with a new program ID is created, no errors will occur. However, if an older version of a GLU program exists, there will be errors. This is because the file information was changed in order to fix a problem with previous builds of Version 6.
To recover from this error and prevent it from happening again, complete the following:
Hit the Cancel button on the Communications window.
Close the program.
Open the C:\Version Six Data folder
Delete the GLU .DB file and the .PX file. (See picture below.)
Complete a new Save All Programs.
