Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number
Build 621 - April 25, 2002 - PRERELEASE Version ONLY!
General Changes
- No longer need Administrator rights on Windows NT, 2000, nor XP to run the
program. Administrator rights are needed to install, update, or
uninstall the program.
- A prototype of a new feature, called PLU Sale, has been
added to the Samsung program area. This enhancement
will allow users to send a PLU sale price to the
register during a specific time range. After that time range expires then
the non-sale price will be sent to the register. Programming
is working on adding this functionality to all Version
Six registers. Any comments or suggestions can be
emailed to support@pcpoll.com.
- A prompt has been added to the software maintenance area to
ask users if they want to import an exported file.
- Blank Report retries are no longer added to the Data area.
- In the past pre-release some users had trouble exiting
their release code entry area. That problem has been corrected.
- User LifeTime codes have been implemented. Users are not
required to obtain a LifeTime to continue to use the
software; it is an option. Contact
Sales2007@pcpoll.com
to receive a LifeTime code.
- The user prompt to create a backup of past Version Six data
during the Data Divide routine has been moved to be
conducted before the conversion to Level 7 Paradox
tables.
Samsung
- The SPS 1000 3.45 ROM was added.
Sharp
- "Fractional Quantity" error when polling
both the PLU and Department Reports fixed.
- Customer Sales 1 and Sales 2 reports are now part of the
Sharp 600/700 program.
- The Dynamic UPC program can be saved, sent and maintained
and the report polled for the Sharp 600/700 registers.
- Minor changes were made to the Sharp 550 send routine.
- The Sharp 450 UPC/EAN Link file has been changed to have a
default record type.
- General minor report formatting corrections were made.
