Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number
Build 647 - August 16, 2002 - PRERELEASE Version
General
- PC/POLL
SYSTEMS had added a procedure in 646 to record comm. log information during
communications, however this procedure caused a "This
program has generated an error - dataset not in edit or insert mode"
error. That procedure has been
removed. The error was only
displayed after communications had been terminated.
CRS
- Various
enhancements were made to the CRS program for ROMS 4.02 and 4.03.
Included within these changes were the addition of the Time Keeping
Z2 and Z3 reports and fixing of viewing the Detail button on the PLU and
Employee grids.
- In
the past the Inventory report would populate the last collected values into
all zero item areas. That has
been corrected.
Samsung
- Various
fixes for the Samsung 5100.
Sharp
- In
the past some users experienced difficulty copying a PLU or Department.
A slight modification was made to the program to assist in ease of
use.
- All
Sharp registers now display GT totals on the Transaction report.
To obtain accurate totals users MUST save their GT programs before
taking the Transaction report. The
Sharp registers do not send GT totals to the PC.
The software must read them out of the maintenance area.
On a standalone register the software reads the Current GT
information and on an IRC it reads the Consolidated.
- Minor
changes were made to the SRV programs to update field listings and entry
area descriptors.
- Job
Location names were added to the 750 Emp. Time report.
- A
change was made to the 600/700 and 750 Server report to properly display the
server numbers.
- A
minor change was made to the Sharp 600/700 Dynamic UPC report to display the
descriptors properly.
- Add
prices and totals to the PLU stock report on the 600/700 registers.
- The
Department Group report was added to the 600/700 report list.
This report is not sent to the PC, thus the information is created by
the system by taking a Department report and by reading the Dept. Group
programming area. For the
report to work properly users must have the Department program saved.
- On
the 600/700 PLU grid programming has added a Verify button to go through the
displayed PLU file and check for PLUs missing a PLU Type, a PLU Type
mismatch, and to look for duplicates in the file.
A Index field was added to the PLU form to allow the software to save
duplicates. It is recommended
that users click the Verify button before sending the PLU file to register.
- Changes
were made to the Sharp 450 Transaction report to fix consolidation report
errors. To apply this fix
simply take a 450 Transaction report before attempting a consolidation.
TEC
- PLU
Sale was implemented for all TEC registers.
This maintenance area will allow users to set a start and end date
for a sale price to be in affect. During
the sale time period whenever the on sale PLUs are sent to the register the
sale price will be sent. When
the sale is over the normal price or the price stored within the PLU
maintenance area will be sent to the register.
-
PLU Add/Change was renamed to Changes Only and it was modified so that it
would pick up changes from the PLU file and send all the changes since the
last PLU Send or Send Changes Only. There is no longer a separate PLU
Add/Change section needed. Also it
will pick up changes made by the PLU Sale program.
- The
PLU Price Change program was modified to work like the new PLU Changes Only
and to work in conjunction with the new PLU Sale program.
- The
SFKC and PLU Preset programs were merged into one program called Keyboard
for ease of use.
