Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

General 

• Minor Corrections to the new PLU grid enhancements

Samsung

• The Samsung 650 software will now broadcast program changes to all registers within an IRC.  In order to get this to work users will need to do some setup in the 650 IRC Broadcast maintenance area.  Users must check off which register they want to broadcast the program to.
• The SPS 1000 employee descriptor area will now accept up to 12 characters of text.

Sharp

• Corrections were made to the 600/700 area 2 PLU and dynamic UPC reports to allow for proper Zing out.
• PLU by department report was added to the Sharp 600/700 list.  The cash register does not send the PC this information.  To simulate this report the software will take a PLU report and then sort the list by department number and display subtotals as well as a grand total.  Thus Zing out this report will Z out the PLU report.
• Dynamic UPC by department report was added to the Sharp 600/700 list.  The cash register does not send the PC this information.  To simulate this report the software will take a Dynamic UPC report and then sort the list by department number and display subtotals as well as a grand total.  Thus Zing out this report will Z out the Dynamic UPC report.
• On the Sharp 600/700 PLU file defaults have been put into place at file send time to help insure a successful file transfer.
• The 450 program can now send UPC changes only and append.
• The 450 program now supports the UPC sale function.  Users can set a sale price on an item and during the designated sale period whenever the UPC file is sent to the register the sale price will be sent.  After the sale has ended the regular price will be sent.  This feature is implemented for all other registers’ PLU files.
