Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number
Build 698 - FEBRUARY 19, 2003 - FULL-RELEASE Version
General
- A
progress bar was added to the consolidation area of the software to help
users know when the software is still working on gathering data.
- The
two lower edit boxes on all PLU and UPC grid areas have been changed to
read-only. New items can be entered via the grid or the detail area.
Samsung
- Throughout the Samsung program default values have been added to help
users add new items more quickly. Below is a list of fields for which
defaults were added within build 698:
- 6500 condiment area
- 6500 PLU area several picklists were added
- 1000 PLU price level descriptors
- 5100 PLU descriptor
- 650 PLU descriptor, inventory item and food stamp
- On the SPS 1000 the WLU program can now save items containing 14 digit PLU
numbers. A few other small enhancements were also made to the listing
areas within the WLU detail.
Sharp
- Modifications
were made to the 750, 770, 600, and 700 registers to display price level
descriptor properly when users have their register configured to 1 descriptor
and 5 price levels. On the Sharp registers we are taking the PLU
descriptors out of the maintenance area, so please keep those files
up-to-date by doing regular saves from the register when changes are made at
the register.
- On
the Sharp 600/700 the last modified field has been removed from the verify
routine.
- Programming
has completed the addition of Polled Register Numbers to the header
of all Sharp reports. The polled register number is the IRC number of
the terminal being polled, not the machine number from the register.
For example, if an IRC contains machine numbers 001000, 001001, 001002, and
001003 the corresponding Polled Register Numbers would be 001000 = Polled
Register Number 1, 001001 = Polled Register Number 2, etc. If All
registers are polled the report will display "All" and if the
system is a stand alone register the report will display "Stand Alone
Register." This data is being stored in AllPoll.DB under
the following fields: Misc Data 1-3.
TEC
- Throughout the TEC program default values and small corrections have been
added to help users add new items more quickly. Below is a list of

- FS2600 PLU descriptor
- MA and FS1650 number was added to the PLU detail form
- MA and FS1650 number and age limit 1 were added to the verify and fill
blanks routine
- On all TEC registers the preset price field should be checked on the PLU
grid when a new item is added
