Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

V7 Build 536 - September 4, 2008 - Full Release Version

General Changes:

• V7 TCP/IP connections now support domain names.
• A change was made to the software, so that the Polling program option will be automatically selected on open of V7Polling.exe.
• A few minor modifications were made to the editing script procedure.
• The PLU/UPC tools area of the software now has an option to add or remove check digits on selected items.  Users can also use the type codes into the search area of the software and press crtl K on their keyboard to have the software automatically calculate the check digits. 
• The QuickBooks interface now supports QB descriptor names with 159 characters for importing and exporting purposes.
• On the QB interface financial/transaction report transfers, the register description will now also be appended to the memo field.
• Users now have the option to transfer PLU/UPC data to QuickBooks with $0.00.  The quantity sold (counts) will transfer as normal, however, this option will replace the collected dollar amount with zeros to allow for those figures to be transferred from other register reports.
• The Archive Agent delete reports routine was optimized to process more quickly.
• Minor changes were made to the V8 AIMsi interface.
• Barcode Version 2.0 enhancements:
  • An option was added for the Sharp 600/700 and TEC 1595 to print customer labels.
  • An extra descriptor area was added to the PLU/UPC grid for an optional barcode-only description.
  • The barcode will retain user defined settings.
  • Users can change UPC types.
  • Users can select the code 39 format for barcodes.
  • Users can sort by columns within the barcode program.

Sam4s Changes:

• The 3.00g SPS2000 ROM was added to the software.
• The SPS2000 delivery program will now match the register display on items sold.  In the past the items were listed individually instead of grouped, i.e. 1 Hot Dog and 1 Hot Dog.  Instead of 2 Hot Dog.
• On the SPS2000 the delivery table save has been changed so that if a date field is returned to the PC as a 0 or a null value, the software will populate that field with the current data. 
• The Sam 7000/7040 Time Keeping report will now display a grand total at the bottom of the report.  Exporting options were also enhanced for this report.

CASIO Changes:

• The Scan PLU by department report will now display correctly with and without zero skip.
• The CASIO 4500 Scan PLU program save error has been corrected. 
• The loading time on the CASIO keyboard program has been reduced. 

Sharp Changes:

• The 600/700 TCP/IP period to date reports were corrected. 
• When conducting a search on PLU/UPC codes leading zeros will now be ignored on type-casting new items to add to the software.
