Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

  V7 Build 006 (7.2.1.013) - April 15, 2009 - Full Release Version

General Changes:

• Within the scripting area a new feature has been added to the software day -1 poll date. With this feature customers can poll after midnight and the software will display the previous day’s date. This date will display on printed and viewed reports. This will also be used for report consolidation. NOTE: In order to enable this feature all users, even those who do not wish to use this feature, must enter their report scripting area. This will restructure the tables to enable this new field.
• A new type of Financial Map was added to the QB interface. This map allows users to offset credits and debits using multiple values from a financial report. This is an advanced mapping option and requires complete report total balancing.
• A warning message has been added to the software to remind dealers that it is not recommended to schedule polling events during the calendar loading time: 11:45-11:59:59.
• Changes were made to the V7 Archive Agent software to make it easier to export custom file types.
• Minor adjustments were made to the V7 Polling to V8 AIMsi inventory interface esp. for marking records as changed after inventory edits have been moved over to polling.
• All V7 Polling registers are now supported by the V8 AIMsi inventory software.
• A prompt has been added to the software to warn users that when they disable the validate reports option this could cause reporting errors. The validate routine checks and repairs report table errors. It also restructures the databases to accommodate database changes. It is recommended to leave this option on. If it is not left on users, should at least run this operation after each software update and when reporting errors are encountered.

Sam4s Changes:

• The SPS2000 ROM 3.00g01 has been added to the software.
• The SPS2000 inventory report has been enhanced to calculate data values that are not being sent from the cash register to polling.
• On the Sam 7040 a change was made to the functionality of the interface for the use of discount function keys.

Sharp Changes:

• General enhancements were made to the functionality of the Sharp 600/700 GT value save on the transaction report.
• A viewing error has been corrected on the 8xx SRV parameters program for job codes 928D-988B.

CASIO Changes:

• Manual transfers of the CASIO 7000 scan plu report within the QB interface have been corrected.
• Report viewing errors for the QT6100 PLU & Free Function reports have been corrected.
• Fractional quantities should now be properly displayed on CASIO PLU reports.

TEC Changes:

• The 1595 keyboard has been changed to cross reference the PLU & department tables on the save of the SFKC program. During the save process the currently saved dept. & PLU descriptors will be placed on the keys. Also, the function selection box now also displays the PLU and dept. names for easy selection.
• More options have been added to the 1650 polling. Dealers interested in testing the software can request a demo version.
