Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

  V7 Build 030 (7.2.1.030) – June 4, 2009 - Full Release Version

General Changes:

• Within build #30 there have been many changes made for the interface between V7 Polling and V8 AIMsi inventory. After this update all users of these products MUST relink their items. Please check out this file for more information: http://www.pcpoll.com/demo/V8_AIMsi_linking%20options.pdf
• Added additional information to the CommCtrlLog for troubleshooting.
• Added the ability to export program data tables to a single line.
• Fixed problem with periodic records being left in the PendingItems table. Program reworked some of our formulas.
• Export reports, fixed problem with detail tables not being closed.
• Fixed program to create sub folders when auto exporting reports.
• Here is a list of changes relating to V* AIMsi inventory:
  • All files related to AIMsi Inventory have now their own folder which is defined in Setup|Data Location. These files include: AIMsiErrlog.dat, AIMsiInvLink.ini, and AIMsiPluLinks.dat.
  • Links between a PLU and an inventory item are now stored in the AIMsiPluLinks table. This permits sharing PLU files among multiple stores without all items in each store having to be linked to an inventory item.
  • An auto create feature has been added. A preference located in the AIMsi Inventory Link section of Preferences allows the user to automatically create an inventory item when a PLU is created. The user has the option to create the item for the current store, for all stores, or to select the store.
  • Added a button to update all Dept/Groups in Preferences | AIMsi Inventory Links.
  • Update the Changed fields when editing the Dept/Group in inventory.
  • Update the PLUIndex for the Sharp 600/700/800 when creating items in inventory and sending to polling.
  • Update the Type field for Sharp registers.
  • Modified the Verify procedure to perform faster when PLUs are linked to items in AIMsi Inventory.
  • Added missing GetDefaults when creating PLUs in AIMsi Inventory. All registers should be implemented with the exception of Casio registers.
  • Changed Refund/Waste values sent to AIMsi Inventory to be positive. This matches what inventory expects.
  • Add a menu item to the Tools menu to filter on PLUs not linked to AIMsi Inventory.
  • Modified the Export Sales routine so that it would work with PLU reports that did not contain the EcrPrg class in the ALLPolls table.
  • Fixed problem sending ‘Class’ changes from AIMsi Inventory to polling.
  • Fixed problem with modification to ‘Classes’ trying to update AIMsi Inventory when inventory doesn’t exist.
  • Changed Preferences so that area selection for Sales Export to AIMsi Inventory defaults to Area 1.
  • Changed Preferences so that report type selection for Sales Export to AIMsi Inventory defaults to Z reports

Sam4s Changes:

• Changed the Sam 5200 function key maintain to fix three overlapping text boxes on modifiers.
• Fixed a Block Size mismatch on the Sam 1000 EJ
• Add Sam4s 2000 Rom Version 3.00G08.
• Improved the strip PEBC function on the SPS 2000 register.
• Sam 650 financial & clerk reports – field ‘text’ not found error
• Sps1000 fixed employee job codes
• Fixed the send option on sps2000 2.02 function keys
• The program opening error on the sps1000 function key area has been corrected.
• The sps1000 PLU template area opens correctly.

Sharp Changes:

• Sharp820F, fixed the register port number so that it is automatically set correctly.
• On the sharp 600/700 tcp/ip polling of the transaction report, the GT values will now display correctly.
• The Sharp 8x0 template for the keyboard has been added to the software.
• The sharp 8x0 macro key program edit/insert error was corrected.

CASIO Changes:

• Fixed '0E' is not a valid integer error for the Casio7000 Hourly Labor Report, ROM 1.42.
• Changed the Casio 8500 consolidate state machine timeout routine to return control to the report state machine when it fails because of timeouts.
• Fixed an error when opening the Casio QT 6100 Pulldown Group program with an empty table.
• Corrected the saving of Keytable Bitmaps on the Casio QT 6000. The saved images are no longer colored incorrectly.
• Fixed the Check Report on the Casio 6100
• Casio QT-6000, General Program >Employee tab > Rounding Minute of Work Time, & Day of Week Start T&A now update and send correctly.

TEC Changes:

• The TEC 1650 is now part of the V7 Polling software. This is a dealer only, not resale release.
