AIMsi v11 Upgrade

AIMsi v11 is EMV ready! Your system will be ready for the fraudulent liability shift which goes into effect October 1st, 2015. On October 1, 2015, merchants who do not use a chip card reader to process card-present transactions when a chip card is presented, can be held liable for any fraud that occurs as a result.

AIMsi no longer comes into contact with cardholder data. This means that AIMsi is considered ‘Out of Scope’ and PA-DSS (Payment Application Data Security Standard) no longer applies. Please be aware that merchants still need to operate their business in a PCI compliant manner regardless of the POS application.

This version upgrade may involve network, credit card hardware and website upgrades depending on your situation. For a complete list of considerations please look over the Installation Instructions at the bottom of this page.

Tri-Technical Systems does not sell any EMV hardware devices. All EMV hardware can be obtained directly from your processing partner.
