Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

  V7 Build 120 (7.3.1.120) – July 2, 2010 - Full Release Version 


General Changes: 

  • DbiSam -> Our database tables have been updated.  Due to this users can no longer downgrade the software completely.  It is recommened to create a backup prior to installation of 7.3.1.110+
  • All Reports -> Added a "Reset All" option to the Report Option Screen. This will reset all options to their default states.
  • All -> Added a print preview to all maintain area prints.
  • All -> Closing V7 Polling via the 'X' windows button no longer sometimes causes data from the current form to be lost.
  • AllPolls -> fixed an access violation whn importing a report and no files are selected.
  • Calender -> The calender now shows each unique set of events In a different color, instead of using Yellow for all days with multiple events.
  • Comm History Area -> Made COMM History Read Only; Added Mouse Wheel scroll to the history box.
  • Comm Units -> rewrote the APRO Trace and Log code so that trace and logging would be set up according to the Preference selection
  • Communications -> fixed problem with cancelling modem communications.
  • Email -> Added support for Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL Mail. Also added SSL support for any SMTP connection. *This feature uses DLLs from the OpenSSL project. (See www.openssl.org for more information)
  • Machine Setup -> After adding a new machine, the cursor goes to the Machine ID box instead of vanishing.
  • Machine Setup -> Simplified Default grid layout. (The user can still customize it if they wish.)
  • MainScreen -> added a prompt to continue clearing log files when the program is opened by a user
  • Most Machines -> Fixed an error where the current machine would sometimes get confused after doing a Adv. Consolidate, PLU advanced report, or custom export.
  • QB Interface -> Added Casio 6600 Scan PLU file/report to the QB interface.
  • QB Interface -> Group/Dept map area, fixed a "Table not in Edit or Insert mode error. Increased size of dropdowns.
  • QB Interface -> Made the X/Z and Consolidated/Indivdual options work better.
  • QB Interface -> Now opens with the first machine selected.
  • AIMsi Sales Update -> Fixed problem automatically sending AIMsi sales info for the Sam 5X0
  • Archive Agent -> FTP Download now works with non-UNIX ftp sites. (The user must select a type.)


CASIO Changes:

  • All Casio Registers -> Fixed an issue where Standalone register where using the "IRC Consolidation" options, despite those options being hidden.
  • All Casio Registers -> Fixed an issues where if a Casio Register ever had 1 or more satellites, it can never be reset to have no satellites.
  • Casio 6000 TCP/IP -> Fixed error sending the Check Number Popup Window
  • Casio 7000/8500/6X00 -> Added support for programming AMT/RATE of function keys.
  • Custom Consolidate -> Fixed problem consolidating on the Casio 8000 Free Function report
  • Custom Consolidate -> Fixed problem consolidating the Casio 7000 1.42 Dept


Sam4s Changes:

  • Sam4s Sam 2000 Communications -> fixed problem saving the delivery program when any of the accounts are zero
  • Sam 285 -> Added ROM 1.027
  • Sam 285 -> Redid input masks in all maintain areas to match register allowances. Also minor error fixed in maintain areas.
  • Sam 52XX -> Added ROM version 8.0
  • Sam 52XX -> Redid input masks in all maintain areas to match register allowances. Also minor error fixed in maintain areas.
  • Sam 65X -> Added ROMS 650 10.8, 650R 3.3, and 655II 2.3
  • Sam4s 1000/7000/2000/5X0 -> Zero Skip did not work on Area 2 Timekeeping reports. Fixed.
  • Sam4s 2000/5X0 -> The touch KB maintain areas now save the PLU sort option in an Ini file.
  • Sam4s 285 -> Fixed error "Field AIMsiExclue not found" when saving the Group Program.
  • Sam4s 285 -> Fixed incorrect Trip Level Save/Sends on Mix&Match
  • Sam4s 5X0 -> Added the PLU Stock Evaluation report.
  • Sam4s 5X0/2000/7000/1000 -> Fixed a rare error that occurred when a Block of Data's check sum was #10#10. (The user got a BSM of 1 byte)
  • Sam4s 5X0/2000/7000/1000 -> Fixed an error sending program broadcasts to register numbers higher than 9.


Sharp Changes:

  • All Sharp Registers -> Changed Department reports to better match the register. (The departments and totals are displayed by Type/Sign)
  • Sharp 3500 -> Fixed errors sending files if any fields were null
    Sharp 3500 -> Fixed Link PLU and Mix/Match maintain areas to work with Scan Codes.
  • Sharp 3500 -> Fixed many issues with the PLU Menu program.
  • Sharp 410/420 -> Added a mask for the Rate so that it can only except values in the xx.xxxxx range
  • Sharp 410/420 -> Fixed link PLU so that PLU codes are selected from the browser when editing in the grid
  • Sharp 410/420 -> Fixed PLU Sale so that the Sale Number field can't be blank when it is posted.
  • Sharp 410/420 -> Fixed sale price in the PLU Sale so that it's value does not exceed the max value
  • Sharp 410/420 -> Fixed the Set PLU so that PLU codes are selected from a browser when editing in the grid
  • Sharp 410/420 -> Modified field picture masks in the maintenance areas
  • Sharp 520/530 -> Made a correction to the Set PLU and Server program links within the maintenance area
  • Sharp 520/530 -> Misssing buttons on the navigator bar are now visible
  • Sharp 520/530 -> Modified field picture masks in the maintenance areas
  • Sharp 520/530 -> The (%) function key now saves sends Tax Status correctly.
  • Sharp 600/700 -> Fixed an issue where the PLU Stock report did not work over TCP/IP communication if 5 price levels were enabled.
  • Sharp 8X0 -> Crosslink function on the PLU form did not work. Fixed.
  • Sharp 8X0 -> fixed error sending the Preset program, KP Format, Mode Secret Code, Non PLU Code Format, Thermal Preset, and VP Text via RS232
  • Sharp 8X0 -> Fixed the display of the inline present program.  Saves and sends were working correctly.
  • Sharp 8X0 -> Modified/added field picture masks in the maintenance areas


TEC Changes:

  • All TEC Registers -> Reports will no longer post to the table entries where the Amount field is NULL.
  • TEC 1650 -> Fixed a 'NNNNNF Failed' error on the send of cashier files with more then 11 records.
  • TEC 1650 -> fixed various problems in the program maintenance areas
  • TEC 1650 -> PLU Reports find the item's description once again.
  • TEC 1650 -> We now ignore block size mismatchs on the Opening Comm program.
  • TEC1595 -> Fixed 'Err Code 16 Err bouilding send/save data'
  • TEC1595 -> On the report consolidation the software now ignores null data and uses zeros as placeholders
  • Custom Consolidate -> Fixed problem consolidating the TEC 1650 Dept
  • Custom Consolidate -> Fixed problem consolidating the TEC 1650 PLU
