Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

V7 Build 302 (7.3.1.302) – October 11, 2012 - Full Release Version 

 

General Changes: 

  • General recommendation:  After installing this update it is recommended that users validate both report and program tables for their registers.  This is esp. important for systems using AIMsi inventory.  To validate, simply open the software & go to the tools menu.  Then select Validate Tables.   Select a machine & validate report & program tables being sure to delete index files as well.  Repeat for all machines.  This process can take some time, so if needed validate only a few report tables at a time.  Repeat until all reports have been validated.
  • AIMsi v10 has been released.  Users who wish to update, please contact [email protected]
  • All -> a check was added to the software to verify the database paths on open. The software will either create the folders or allow the user to select a different path. 
  • All -> a message was added to the software as a tip for adding machines on a new install
  • All -> Added support for multi page graphs
  • All -> Fixed a rounding error on the sale forms.
  • All -> Programs can now be imported and exported using the XLS format
  • XLS -> Added quantity output option to the template generators for Group, Department, and Sub department
  • AIMsi Interface->Created a method so that when a new item is added in AIMsi the item will transfer to a CASIO scan PLU file with leading zeros & a check digit -> users can customize these options by UPC type
  • AIMsi Interface->Fixed a problem sending breakdown sku data to inventory.
  • AIMsi Interface->Fixed a problem sending sales data to AIMsi when the report has zero records.
  • AIMsi Interface->Fixed a problem with linking TEC items to CASIO items when the TEC item does not have a check digit.
  • AIMsi Interface->Fixed a problem with transferring foodstamp options between Polling & AIMsi for the CASIO 6600. 

 

CASIO Changes:

  • Casio 2200 -> For item discount keys now tax values work properly
  • Casio 2200-> In PLU maintenance and PLU Template the Barcode Desc. was blacked out, this is now corrected & In Tax Table Table Number was blacked out, this is now corrected
  • Casio 3000->In PLU maintenance and PLU Template the Barcode Desc. was blacked out, this is now corrected
  • Casio 4500->In PLU maintenance and PLU Template the Barcode Desc. was blacked out, this is now corrected
  • Casio 6100->In Tax Table Table Number was blacked out, this is now corrected
  • Casio 6600 -> Fixed issue with Open Check report sometimes failing with "Date Encode" error over TCP/IP
  • Casio 6600 -> Fixed issues displaying employee reports under odd circumstances
  • Casio 6600 -> Open Check report now works over RS232.
  • Casio 6600 -> rs232 we now display z counters on the z reports
  • Casio 6600 -> Schedule Program now works over RS232.
  • Casio 6600 -> users can now send the scan plu changes only file via the maintenance area menu
  • Casio 6600 Cashier report->fixed problem saving the report with the new rom version.
  • Casio 6600-> In Tax Table Table Number was blacked out, this is now corrected
  • Casio TE 8500-> In Tax Table Table Number was blacked out, this is now corrected.

 

Sam4s Changes:

  • Sam 9xx -> Fixed issue with function key sending esp. modifier keys
  • Sam 9xx -> Fixed issue with tax table send
  • Sam4s 2000/5x0 -> Added button to touch screen keyboard program to clear the custom desc flag on keys with blank custom descs.
  • Sam4s 320 -> a fix was made to correct an error when trying to add plu on a Sam 320 and gets a error tblToUse:Field 'NonInvCategory' not found.
  • Sam4s 320 -> Added ROM Versions 1.0027, 1.0029, 1.0031, 1.0032, and 1.0034
  • Sam4s 320 -> Fixed a issue with the home currency not displaying correctly under print options.
  • Sam4s 320 -> Fixed a numbering issue with group reports when >50 groups were allocated.
  • Sam4s 320 -> Fixed a problem with editing the default function key descriptions.
  • Sam4s 320 -> Set up new form for Function Lookup and added to the send/receive function keys.
  • Sam4s 520->separated the keylinks from the function keys.
  • Sam4s 5x0 -> a fix was made to correct an error when consolidating financial report data
  • Sam4s 5x0 -> added a method to clear out the string report area program data
  • Sam4s 5x0 -> Fixed an issue doing Z Check Track reports on Roms N and earlier
  • Sam4s 650 -> Set up new form for Function Lookup and added to the send/receive function keys.

 

Sharp Changes:

  • Sharp 3500 -> an error was corrected that relates to the zing out of the cashier report
  • Sharp 410 -> Fixed template error on PLU by Dept report viewing
  • Sharp 5x0 -> On the keyboard, PLU keys can now have different descriptions depending on level.
  • Sharp 800->Fixed problem with the RS232 customer report department values being 2 decimal places off

TEC Changes:

  • TEC 1650 -> a change was made to the default keyboard template for the fs1650.
