Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

  V7 Build 023 (7.3.1.023) – January 12, 2010 - Full Release Version 


General Changes:

  • A new option has been added to the software to allow users to create new items with a custom set of default values.  To access this option go to the PLU Maintain area, select the Tools menu and then select Set Base PLU Template.  As new items are added the inherit the pre-set values from the selected PLU template. 
  • The Viewable fields selection screen has been redone to allow for field order sorting.  Users can now also resize the grid columns to be smaller than the name of the field.
  • Within all PLU sale maintenance areas users can now use a PC wedge scanner to enter their items into the sales batch.
  • Minor edits were made to the maintenance area grids to improve the user interface.
  • On the PLU duplicate check, the software now only displays the 1st 1000 duplicates.  After those have been corrected, users should run the verify again until all duplications have been removed.
  • The AllPolls report delete operation now shows the progress on a pre-report basis instead of a by table deletion.
  • A refresh button has been added to the reports menu. 
  • Security -> Added option to Show/Hide the communication menu within the software maintain areas.
  • Security -> Fixed a error where hiding certain areas of the Setup Menu.  Added Crosslinks area to the Setup show/hide options.
  • Security -> Redid security options. Now users can hide all but the selected maintain areas.  Also added more programs to the customization list.
  • The QB Interface has been corrected to properly interface with the Sam4s 52xxM registers.
  • Support for QB 2010 was added to the QB Interface.


CASIO Changes:

  • Casio Registers -> When a new Casio is added to the machine table, the allocations are set to that register's default values, instead of to all zeros.
  • Casio Registers -> Corrected general user interface problems with Casio scan PLUs and the AIMsi inventory
  • Casio 6100 -> Disabled editing of the PLU code and PLU description in the Casio 6100 Scan PLU Link maintain area.
  • Casio 6100 -> Fixed display of the PLU description field in the Casio 6100 Scan PLU Link maintain area.
  • Casio 6600 -> Fixed problem of incorrect allocations when doing save-all on the Casio 6600 via TCP/IP.
  • Casio 4500 -> Fixed problem with duplicate menu items within the Tools menu on the Casio 4500 PLU maintain area
  • Casio 3000/4500 -> On the Scan PLU form, the Tax Status dropdown didn't display the correct values. This has been corrected.


Sam4s Changes:

  • Sam4s 7000 -> Fixed an error on ROM 1.24 where the Keyboard loaded the 7040 form instead of the 7000.
  • Sam4s 7040 -> Modified the keyboard form to match the other new line Sam4s registers. (Show/Hide PLU/WLU checkboxes and load default buttons.)
