Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

  V7 Build 068 (7.3.1.068) – April 21, 2010 - Full Release Version 


General Changes: 

  • Custom Consolidate -> added the ability to sort in descending/ascending with an arrow in the selected field title bar.   These sorting options will transfer over to the printed and exported data.
  • Custom Consolidate -> added the ability to display and sort by departments and user groups(classes) in the PLU consolidation report.
  • Margin Reports -> Fixed an issue where if items with the same code but different descriptions existed in the report range, an error would occur.
  • Margin Reports -> Open Items with price 0.00 now use the costfield as a "Profit Percentage" Field.  This a new feature enhancement. 
  • AIMsi interface -> Set up the Scheduled Tasks check in Preferences\Validate AIMsi Settings to have additional delays to wait until ShellExe completes.
  • AIMsi interface -> Fixed problem with tax 1 & 2 being set to false when editing an item in AIMsi and 'Use AIMsi Tax…' is set to false.
  • AIMsi interface -> Fixed problem with updating tax values in polling when editing an item in AIMsi.
  • AIMsi interface -> Fixed problem exporting sales to AIMsi when an item is written to the error log.
  • File Maintenance -> Fixed the maintenance form grids so that the field name displayed on the title bar would not change to the database name when sorting on that field.
  • Register Setup -> Modified the available communication types in the drop down list of the machine area so that the types match what is available for the register.


CASIO Changes:

  • Custom Consolidate -> set up Casio scan codes to be part of the PLU consolidation.
  • Custom Consolidate-> added display of scan codes for Casio scan link registers based on preferences for the PLU report consolidation.
  • Casio 6000/6100/6600/7000/8500 -> All PLU and Scan PLU reports now correctly display price levels.
  • Casio 6000/6100/6600/7000/8500 -> All PLU and Scan PLU reports revamped to use less paper.
  • Casio 6000/6100/6600/7000/8500 -> Changed how PLU/Random codes are displayed on PLU reports.  Use the software preferences to make the desired selections.
  • Casio 6000/6100/6600/7000/8500 -> Fixed rare "Saving to Database. F" error on PLU/Scan PLU By reports that occurred under certain conditions.
  • Casio 6000/6100/6600/7000/8500 ->PLU Scan PLU reports only show levels that are being used. Total lines only display if 2+ levels being used.
  • Casio 6000/6100/7000(1.3x)/8500(1.3x) -> Scan Link areas no longer allow the user to add/delete records. (The number can only be changed via allocations)
  • Casio 6000/6100/7000/8500 -> Added option to show Linked scan codes on PLU reports
  • Casio 6100 -> Set the Casio6100 Fixed Totalizer default description field to read only within the program maintenance area.


Sam4s Changes:

  • Sam4s 520/2000/7000/1000 -> Added PLU Stock (IRC) send.   Dealers, please call if you have questions on this feature.  The software will now check the system to see if it is an IRC system.  Then it will disable standard Stock sends.  Users will need to use the PLU Stock Modify operations with this new send.  The software will save the stock program from the master register and then take a stock IRC report.  The software will tabulate the totals between the master register, the IRC and the desired change to send down a new value to the master register. 
  • Sam4s 520/2000/7000/1000 -> Added Safety checks to the PLU Stock (IRC) send. (No data is sent if the report does not contain all registers.)
  • Sam4s 5X0 -> Fixed an issue where all error codes where being reported as error 255.  They are now reported correctly.
  • Sam4s 5X0 -> The date/time send now correctly updates the register.
  • Sam4s 5X0 -> The Touch Keyboard option "Differentiate Button Types" now works as it does on the SPS 2000.
  • Sam4s 5X0/2000 -> Fixed an "Invalid Integer" error involving the promotion table and PLUs with long scancodes.
  • Sam4s 5X0/2000 -> When the touch keyboard edit dialog is open, the user can no longer try to open another one, causing an error.
  • Sam4s 7000/2000/1000/5X0 -> PLU Files with more than 32K records now send without error.
  • Sam4s 1000/7000/2000/5X0 -> Fixed an issue where the memory allocations sometimes did not get saved during a save all.
  • Sam4s 650  ->  fixed problem saving the clerk report descriptors.
  • All Sam Registers  ->  Added a check for the Sam4s LogOn item, if the table is empty or does not exits then the program will save the item.
  • Sam4s 7000/2000/1000/5X0 -> Added a load AIMsi Inventory check before setting PLU status groups and groups equal for the Sam 5X0, 1000, 2000 and 7000 registers.
  • All Sam Registers  ->  Changed the Sam4s report options so that if the To Register is less than the From Register the values are reversed and an error message is displayed.
  • Custom Consolidate -> Fixed 'List index out of bounds' error in Custom Consolidate when consolidating Sam 7000 PLUs.


Sharp Changes:

  • Margin Reports -> Fixed an issue on Sharp Registers where items with the same Numeric Code but different code types would cause an error.
  • Sharp 3500 -> Removed invalid fields from the verify and the maintain form.
  • Sharp 3500 -> The PLU file now saves the KP Text and CVM correctly.
  • Sharp 4X0/5X0/600/700/8X0 -> Added support for the function keys program.
  • Sharp 4X0/5X0/600/700/8X0 -> Fixed a "Cannot convert Null" error when using direct labels on the keyboard and one of the items has a blank descriptor.
  • Sharp 520/530 -> Fixed a block size mismatch error when saving a PLU file if KP text was not allocated.


TEC Changes:

  • Custom Consolidate -> added TEC  1595 to the daily consolidation.
  • Custom Consolidate -> added the TEC MA1650 to the daily consolidation.
  • Custom Consolidate -> Fixed problem in the TEC 1595 and 1650 Dept custom consolidation not displaying the data correctly.
  • Tec 1595/1650 -> Department report now shows Dept. % for each department.
  • Tec 1595/1650 -> Department report now uses register's system options to determine what fields to show/hide.
  • Tec 1650 -> Fixed an issue where polling certain reports was looking for a TEC 1595 Terminal connection table.
  • Tec 1650/1595 -> The Registers polled section no longer has a leading comma.
