Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

  V7 Build 134 (7.3.1.134) – August 13, 2010 - Full Release Version 

General Changes: 

  • This build contains the initial release of the XLS Wizard.  A custom add-on program that allows users to combine data from previously collected V7 Polling reports and display that data in a custom format within an Excel file.  Please contact [email protected] for more info. 
  • This build contains the initial release of RetryPoll.exe.  This program will automatically retry failed polled events.  Please contact [email protected] for more info. 
  • A change was made to the report module area of the V7 polling to allow for more consolidate options across multiple machine types.
  • A RetryItem has been added to the Comm History area to let users know if the item is a ‘retry’ item initiated by RetryPoll.exe
  • A 5 second delay was added before report validation begins so that the end user can cancel if necessary.
  • QB Interface -> Added ability to sort and filter the various grids within the interface.

CASIO Changes:

  • A general clean-up of the CASIO maintenance areas is included within this release.  Software masking was added to help users enter values in correctly, all grids now have Clear buttons, the software will auto create records based off of the saved allocation values, and the software now has default values throughout the maintain areas.

Sam4s Changes:

  • Sam4s 1000/7000/2000/5x0 -> Added totals to the PLU Stock Evaluation Report
  • Sam4s 1000/7000/2000/5X0 -> Fixed an issue relating to the PLU Stock (IRC) sends within scripts
  • Sam4s 2000/5x0 -> Modified the Touch keyboard import routine to be less picky about commas so that files edited in Excel will import without errors.
  • Sam4s 2000/5x0/7000 -> Fixed PLU Stock Evaluation report to work with scan code items.
  • Sam4s 2000/7000/5X0/1000 -> Fixed issue with the PLU Stock IRC getting a Register Range Mismatch error.
  • Sam4s 7000 -> Fixed "Number not found" error on PLU by Group 2/3 reports.
  • Sam4s Registers -> fixed various problems in the program maintenance areas; Mainly adding picturemasks to the software to help with user entry. 

Sharp Changes:

  • Communications -> changed the log on procedure for the Sharp state machines to be the CurrentGT program
  • Sharp 3500 -> Added a department field to the Coupon table
  • Sharp 3500 -> set initial grid field spacing to be wide enough to read all  title captions
  • Sharp 3500 Inline Preset - > set up the grid to always display the satellite table fields correctly and set the grid field select button to invisible.
  • Sharp 520/530 -> Fixed various problems in the program maintenance areas related to changing file allocations
  • Sharp 600 -> Fixed problem sending/saving Combo Meal table when the PLU's are scan PLUs
  • Sharp 600 -> Fixed problem sending/saving Link PLU table when the PLU's are scan PLUs
  • Sharp 600 -> fixed various problems in the program maintenance areas relating to the user interface
  • Sharp 600/700 -> Fixed a duplicate key error when polling an IRC Department Report over TCP/IP.
  • Sharp 600/700 -> Fixed the Inline Preset so that the satellite table data would be visible in the grid.
  • Sharp 600/700 -> Fixed the PLU Stock report over TCP/IP
  • Sharp 600/700 -> Fixed the T-LOG report not working over TCP/IP if a Customer transaction was in the report.
  • Sharp 600/700/8x0 -> We now display the MODE in the header of each transaction on the T-LOG report.
  • Sharp 800 -> fixed problem sending the Menu Level via rs232
  • Sharp 800 -> fixed various problems in the program maintenance area relating to the user interface
  • Sharp 800 -> Set up initial settings for the maintenance area grids including defaults
  • Sharp 820 -> Limited the Logo Text messages to 30 characters each to match the register's limit.
  • Sharp 8x0 -> Added support for the Graphic Logo 1 and Graphic Logo 2 programs.
  • Sharp 8x0 -> Fixed an issue saving the PLU Key Text over RS232
  • Sharp 8x0 -> Properly named the ROM versions 1.x0 -> 1.00.x   ie. 1.30->1.00.3; Also added 1.00.4 and 1.00.6
  • Sharp TCP/IP -> Fixed the custom export not working in a script. Fixed Auto Email not working if the "New file with Date/Time Stamp" option was used.

TEC Changes:

  • A problem was fixed within the software where sometimes a save of the terminal connection program would fail after completing a list of reports.
  • The software message was changed to more accurately prompt the user to let them know that the 1595 terminal connection table does not exist & needs to be saved from the register. 
  • Tec 1595 -> Fixed the custom export to work correctly via a script. Fixed Auto Email which was not working correctly if the "New file with Date/Time Stamp" option was used.
