Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

  V7 Build 151-161 (7.3.1.151-161) – November 3, 2010 - Full Release Version 

 

General Changes: 

  • All -> Changed Exports to include headers by default. Changed imports to default to use the "Use the Header to Import file" option.
  • All -> Modified the Import routines when the "Use Header to Import file" is checked.  Fixed bugs with "Use Quotes" option as well as moved index fields.
  • All -> Modified the Import routines when the "Use Header to Import file."  It now gets the delimiter and whether quotes are used from the header as well.
  • All -> When "Use Header to Import file" is checked, the options that no longer apply are now disabled.
  • All -> The change directory dialog box was changed to work in Win 7
  • Reports area -> Moved the delete button away from the print button (by request)
  • Calendar -> added a counter to the number of event sent over from polling
  • Auto Import/Auto Results -> minor updates
  • Barcoding -> minor updates to improve performance
  • Barcoding -> Added Thermal Printer type /w the SRP770
  • Report Zero Skip Utility -> minor updates to resolve midas dll errors
  • Retry Poll -> changes were made to work with duplicate items and not retry them
  • Retry Poll -> filtering options within the UI were changed
  • QB Interface -> added support for multiple company files
  • QB Interface -> changed auto transfer UI and added an automatic calendar transfer option
  • XLS Wizard -> added zero skipping options to PLU and financial reports
  • XLS Wizard -> made minor corrections to calendar transfer methods
  • AIMsi Interface -> Changes were made to both V7 Polling and AIMsi.  Users must sync up the versions correctly.  V7.3.1.157+ and V9.0 AIMsi 10/18/2010+ update.   Please read over these update notes.
  • AIMsi Interface -> modify communications between V7 Polling and AIMsi to support tab delimited text files
  • AIMsi Interface -> set up sending and modifying food stamp and scalable fields for PLU and scan PLU files
  • AIMsi Interface -> set up tax status to be on a per item basis.
  • AIMsi Interface -> Added a validation dialog for PLU / SKU links.
  • AIMsi Interface ->Additional changes were also made on the AIMsi side, please consult those update notes.
  • AIMsi Interface -> Fixed error 'Machine table - cannot perform this operation on an inactive table.' error
  • AIMsi Interface -> Fixed error sending scalable for the TEC 1595 and Sharp 410/420
  • Validate AIMsi -> Removed the 'Check PLU Descriptors' button.

 

CASIO Changes:

  • Casio 6100/6600 -> Added ability to change the free function descriptors.
  • Casio 6600 Scan PLU -> fixed problem getting initial new record number
  • Casio 6600 -> added report polling for Scan PLU by options
  • Casio 6600 -> added a refresh option to the Pulldown menu area
  • Casio 6100 -> fixed totalizer program was not sending down correctly on IPL 2.xx, a change was made at the register, the error has been corrected
  • Casio QT communications TCP/IP -> added a logon item. Sam4s Changes: 
  • Casio 6100/3000/4500/6600 -> Added "Template Update" to the PLU tools menu.
  • Caiso 6100 -> Fixed the Shift PLU and PLU @2nd maintain area.
  • Casio 6100 -> Fixed KB Bitmap program

 

Sam4s Changes:

  • Sam4s 52xx -> Added ROM version 8.3 and 8.4
  • Sam4s 5x0/7000/1000 -> Added ability to copy keyboard level 1 to the other levels
  • Sam4s SPS lines -> A reload descriptors option was added for Financial & Employee Report areas.  Simply go into the tools option and select the Revert to Defaults option. 
  • Sam4s 285 -> a block size mismatch error was corrected on the function key program

 

Sharp Changes:

  • Sharp 3500 -> Fixed time keeping report display error
  • Sharp 600/700 TCO/IP -> added a two second delay after the logon item completes.
  • Sharp 700 Transaction report -> fixed a problem Z-ing out the report
  • Sharp 8x0 -> The T-Log report now displays the descriptor of a price embedded barcode.
  • Sharp 8x0 -> redid the UI the key name/attribute program

 

TEC Changes:

  • There were no new changes included for the TEC registers except for the Polling link to AIMsi inventory.
