Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

  V7 Build 035 (7.3.1.035) – February 11, 2010 - Full Release Version 


General Changes:

  • The option to consolidate across registers for Dept/Group, PLU, and Transaction was added to the Custom Consolidate routine.
  • The V7 Polling software now supports the option of exporting report data in a format that can be imported into another copy of V7 Polling.  The new Transfer File can be exported manually or automatically.   
  • V7 Polling now includes a basic auto import/export option for maintenance programs.  There is also a results viewer program for this operation.  For more information, please contact sales:  800.670.1736.
  • A Custom Report Export has been added to V7 Polling. Users can select which fields they want, the order, and formatting options. 
  • Programming altered how the "Print" button works in maintain areas that have grids. It now prints a report with the first 8 selected fields from the grid.
  • Fixed an error within polling that occurred if Data3 is blank on first report in allpolls.
  • Fixed the index selection being off on the report module margin report.
  • Programming redid the report options for scripts. The user now have the ability to export transfer reports, export custom defined reports, custom define email addresses, and select a printer for auto printing.
  • Changed the default year in the year drop down list to 2000 for all date time pickers.
  • Fixed problem with AllPolls tool menu not being updated after viewing the Custom Consolidation form.
  • Programming added a Port Setting to SMTP email setup in both V7 Polling and Archive AgentModem retries have been added to the software.  Optional settings can be edited via the Preferences area of the software. 
  • Archive Agent -> Auto Archive now allows each page to have it's own custom options.
  • Archive Agent -> Auto Archive's Skip Large Emails option now allows the user to enter in the max. email size.
  • Archive Agent -> Custom Archive/Restore pages now allow multiple file types and custom file types to be selected.
  • Archive Agent -> Email setup page has been changed matches the one in V7 Polling.
  • Archive Agent -> Fixed an issue of skipped files within the Keyboard and Employee file Archive on certain registers.
  • Archive Agent -> Fixed some issues with Auto Archive missing some files from the Setup and Logs files.
  • Archive Agent -> Fixed the Auto Archive using an incorrect default path.
  • Archive Agent -> FTP pages now allow aborts while attempting to connect.
  • Barcoding Module -> Added MSI Plessey, Interleaved 2 of 5, and Code 128 barcode types to the interface.
  • Quickbooks interface -> The software will now load properly if the executable is moved for the installed location without the user moving the image files.  It is recommended to install the software instead of manually moving files.
  • Quickbooks Interface -> Fixed an "Machine table could not be opened" prompt when opening QB interface with V8 AIMsi inventory being activated. 
  • Quickbooks Interface -> Fixed an error where auto transfers failed if the Data2 field of AllPolls was null.
  • For the Polling to AIMsi inventory link an option was added to allow users to select which departments/groups are transferred from Polling to AIMsi.  Select departments/groups can be marked to be skipped.


CASIO Changes:

  • The Casio Free Function report option was added to the transaction consolidation in Custom Consolidation.
  • The Hourly Labor and Time Keeping reports were added to the FTP import for the Casio 6000, 6100, and 6600.
  • Fixed error 'Table not open' when sending programs with the Casio8500 via RS232


Sam4s Changes:

  • A fix has been made to the Sam 7040 ROM 1.74 keyboard to load properly. 
  • A viewing error has been repaired on the Sam 7000/7040 Time keeping report.   
  • Sam 28X -> Fixed an error sending the group program when a group had a blank description field.
  • Sam 28X -> Fixed an issue where we didn't wait long enough after a failed EJ report when the EJ isn't allocated or setup, so the next report failed.
  • Sam 28X -> Fixed the Keyboard area "Fill With Default Descriptors" using "NLU XX" instead of the PLU names.
  • Sam 5X0 -> Fixed the '%' key maintain area. The options did not fit on the screen.
  • Sam4s 5X0 -> The Misc Tender Keys "Key is" can now be set to a value other then "Credit"
  • Sam4s 5X0 -> Added ROM 1.00M
  • Sam4s 5X0/2000 -> On the keyboard, the "Item Multiplication" flag not works correctly.
  • Sam4s 2000 -> Added ROM 3.00g26
  • Sam4s 65X -> Added 3.2 Rom for the 650R and 2.2 ROM for the 655II
  • Sam4s 65X -> The QB Interface now works with the Clerk Time Report.


Sharp Changes:

  • Sharp 3500 -> Polling Z reports when register is setup as a Master now works & IRC options were added to the reporting area.
  • Fixed problem resetting RJE Timing default values for the Sharp 600/700.
  • Fixed the Sharp80X0 so that when saving programs items that are not allocated are reported as failed instead of successful.


TEC Changes:

  • By default some of the financial report descriptors on TEC 1650 machines have the same name.  For V7 consolidate routines the software consolidates off the description names.  This lead to confusing data.  Programming has setup a routine to change the duplicate descriptors to include the numbers 2, 3, etc. at the end of the duplicates with a save of the program file.
  • Users can now import and export the PLU Preset Keys on the 1650.  Also a user interface area was added to the software for the PK-2 keyboard.
